Bangladesh girls all out for 32 runs against New Zealand

Bangladesh girls lost shamefully to New Zealand. Nigar Sultana’s Jyoti was bowled out for 32 in reply to 164 runs in the first match of the Christchurch T20 series.

The men’s team Bangladesh did not play very well on the soil of New Zealand. However, Shakib-Tamim never had to fall into such a shameful situation. No one in Nigar’s team could reach double figures today. And the team lost by a huge margin of 132 runs.
Earlier in the T20, the Tigers were 30 runs shy of being bowled out against Pakistan at Cox’s Bazar. But the Tigers got the shame right. This is now Nigar’s second-lowest score in T20Is.
After winning the toss at Hagley Oval and showing dominance in the batting, the host bowlers showed Rudramurthy in bowling. Lea Tahuhu and Hayley Jensen bowled Salma-Nigar with the bat, with the joint-highest runs in single digits coming from the overs.
Captains Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates got off to a great start on Friday. The duo scored 84 runs in the first ten overs.
Amelia Kerr scored 27 runs for the third wicket. Skipper Sophie Devine added a team-high 45 runs before Jahanara returned. Maddy Green crossed the 150 mark with an unbroken partnership of 30 runs for the fourth wicket
Lea Tahuhu. The innings ended at 164 runs.
In response, Bangladesh’s innings collapsed like a sand dam. The team that lost the first wicket on the last ball of the third over could play up to 15 overs. Ritu Moni scored the maximum runs with the bat for the team, scoring 6 runs off 17 balls.
Right-arm pacer Tahuhu did the main work of weakening by picking up 4 wickets for 6 runs in 4 overs. Jensen picked up 3 wickets for 8 runs in 3 overs. 2 wickets for 2 runs by Fran Jonas.
